Songwriting workshop
Some lucky pupils in year 5&6 took part in a workshop with a songwriter today. They wrote the lyrics and created a melody for a new school song. It sounded amazing! The song is now being transferred onto a CD so we can all learn it and sing it for our parents.

Waste Week
It is national 'waste week' and Dean from RCT waste management came to talk to the children on Monday about recycling. He talked about what happens to the recycled rubbish and we were amazed at the different things it is turned into - aeroplanes to name one!! He talked about the types of things we can recycle- which turned out to be nearly everything!
