We have received notification from the Director of Education that on Thursday 10th July members of the National Union of Teachers, UNITE, UNISON and GMB are proposing strike action.
A substantial amount of support staff and a significant number of teaching staff will be on strike that day. As a consequence, it will be impossible to open the school on that day.
Consequently, unless industrial action is withdrawn, the school will be closed to all pupils on July 10th.
Y Pant will be rearranging their transition day and we will rearrange our 'Move Up Day'.
The school Prom will now be held on Thursday 17th July for Years 3-6

Inspire a Generation
We were thrilled and honoured to have a Paralympic Athlete come to school to visit the children yesterday. He talked about all of us having a talent whether we're a singer, plumber, footballer or hair dresser. But it's how we use that talent and work hard at everything we do that matters. It was truly inspiring to listen to him.
