Cookery lessons

We had a fantastic first cookery session in Wednesday. 12 parents joined the class to create a quiche from  scratch. They smelt delicious and some very lucky boys and girls had homemade ham and sweet corn quiche for tea!

Children in Need

We raised a fantastic £163 today for Children in Need. Everyone looked fantastic in their costumes, even the teachers.

100% Attendance

74 pupils had 100% attendance last half term. A fantastic achievement, let's hope they can keep it up x

Remembrance Service

The rain didn't stop us from taking part today in our Remembrance service at the memorial. The children were exceptionally well behaved considering the dreadful weather. Thank you to the British Legion and Reverend Sue for helping with the service.

Children in Need

This year the theme for Children in Need is 'be a hero'. Children can dress up as their hero on the day - princesses, super heroes, pudsy bear etc. (basically anything goes!)

A donation of £1 will be collected for this worthy cause.

Pumpkin competition

We had fantastic 91 pumpkin entries for our competition today. It was very, very difficult choosing a winner and in the end we have had to buy extra prizes. Winners will be announced in assembly tomorrow, one boy and one girl from the juniors and one boy and one girl from foundation phase.

100% attendance again

Well done to class 6 for 100% attendance again! They celebrated with yummy chic ices!

Fair Trade

We raised a grand total of £80 for Fair Trade this week in our bake sale - well done everyone!!

Keira James won this fantastic cake in the raffle today.

What a great response to our Fair Trade bake competition. The winners were Aaliyah, Aimee and Cassie who each had a bar of fair-trade chocolate. Cakes are on sale after school x
